The events of September 11th redefined whom we as a nation call "our heroes".  That Tuesday we were reminded of all of those who put their lives in danger everyday to make our communities a safe place to work and live.

  On Friday, May 3, 2002, at the Tampa Convention Center, Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated (SYKES), SunTrust Bank, HSN, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Red Baron® Frozen Pizza and many other companies joined forces to sponsor the eighth annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon.

  This year’s luncheon honored ALL public safety personnel in Hillsborough County and was appropriately called, “Our Heroes’ Luncheon.”  This year about 5,000 people attended the luncheon.
